Mission

In the next three years, Ciku Media Sdn Bhd (now known as “Ciku Media”) intends to become the most proficient supplier of Advertiser Funded Programming (now known as “AFP”) in the Malaysian television industry. We also hope to reward our clients and broadcasters alike, with successful and entertaining television shows.

Track Record

Ciku Media will be in a unique position of producing AFP programming to the Malaysian television market as no one specific company exclusively concentrates on this area of the television business. Most recently, in 2005, the directors have successfully produced Jom Tukar! for RTM TV2, where in its first season the show rated number 1 in its timeslot with an average of 730,000 viewers or 35% of the weekly audience share. RTM in turn managed to sell all their airtime allocation within the show and it will return this year. This show was funded by the same method as Ciku Media’s business model, as described above. The specific genres that Ciku Media will concentrate on are family entertainment; infotainment and reality programming, aimed at a wide target audience from children to grandparents.

The Creative Directors in the company also made “Spanar Jaya”, “Mango TV”, “Doop!” and “Box Office Now” in 2005, all for ntv7 and 8TV.

Ciku Media Sdn Bhd was incorporated in October 2005.
