That’s right, it’s free. You step into a taxi and tell your driver where to go, the only thing is this taxi is different; the driver is Bob Lokman! Once you have decided to take part in Teksi Tunai then you will be asked a series of questions: 5 X RM10; 5 X RM50 and then countless RM100 questions until you arrive at your destination. It’s simple, but we have some rules: if you get 3 questions wrong then we ask you to step out of the cab and get a ride from someone else. But to help you along with the quiz, you can phone family and friends on your handphone before you give your answer and stop anyone on the street for advice. If you have at least one life still in tact when you arrive at your destination you win what you have accumulated in the bank, it could be RM100; RM500 or more than RM1000!
We pick up anybody going anywhere, and the more people in the taxi the better as you can confer with each other, but Bob will also hurry you along if you are taking too much time….
